Plain-language terms
How every engagement works. Your quote is the document that governs your order — these are the standing rules it's written against.
Nothing adult or sexually explicit, and nothing illegal or built to harm — malware, phishing, scams, harassment tools, counterfeit anything, or content involving minors, ever. The counter refuses such orders at intake, and we may decline or cancel any order that turns out to be one, at any point, with a reason on the order and nothing billed for undelivered work.
A fixed price, not an estimate, listing what it covers and what it doesn't. It holds for 14 days; no work starts and nothing is owed until you accept it.
Nothing is billed while your build is on the line. You try the finished build and stamp it yourself; accepting releases the delivery and the invoice, in that order.
Your quote includes a stated number of revision rounds. A round is spent only when you send a build back with changes. Unused rounds aren't billed.
Defects caught by our own review — or breakage we caused — are walk-backs. They cost us time, never your rounds.
A named inspector opens every build, works through your acceptance criteria by hand, and signs off before the build reaches you.
Your build ships as the artifacts on your order — a zip download and/or a git repository transferred to your account.
Your stamp at the dock is the acceptance test — you try the running build and take delivery only when it does what you asked. What ships is exactly what you stamped; if the crate doesn't match, tell us and we make it right.
The build is yours outright — full source, full history, no lock-in. The zip download stays on the dock for 90 days after delivery; changes you want later are a new quoted order, never a surprise charge.
Your stamp is the acceptance test, so there's one thing it can't cover: the crate not matching the build you stamped. If what's delivered isn't what you approved, tell us — we fix it, and if we can't, that order is refunded in full. Changing your mind about a build you accepted isn't a refund; it's a new quoted order, and we'll price one gladly.
We stand behind delivering the build you accepted. What we can't carry is what happens downstream — lost profits or revenue, lost or corrupted data, business interruption, or anything a third party claims because of how the software gets used. Our total responsibility for any order is limited to what you paid us for that order. You're responsible for how you run and secure the build once it's yours, including keeping your own backups.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, and any dispute belongs in the state or federal courts sitting in Michigan. We'd much rather you just tell us it's wrong first — nearly everything is fixable at the counter.
Questions about any line — ask before you accept; the quote stays open while you do. See also our privacy policy.
